Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

excellent capture, it almost appears as a hunk of clay that's being sculpted, great find!!

Fascinating stuff! And thanks for answering my question about the hydrogen sulfide. I did not know it could be that dangerous.

This is a very intersting picture of the lava with all of its different shapes, and equally interesting information about its color. I've seen lots of lava here in Oregon but never any this color.

Interesting shot Errol. Very different color than the normal looking lava. Great shot. Aloha

Those worm-like tubes are so interesting. The pile has character and begs to be explored. :-)

Excellent capture of this giant convoluted and tortuous mound of lava! Your description of the sulfur dioxide reminds me of Los Angeles smog.

Another good capture of this interesting form. I like it, you always include some data or explanation.
