Description

I took this image of Pretty Polly (Blue & Gold Macaw) at a Bird Sanctuary close to where I live. They have quite a few of them in the Park and they are fairly tame. I wouldn't try to feed it though - I love my fingers too much. Thank you for visiting my gallery and for any comments you wish to make. Hugs, Carin xx

The parrots are very clever birds: Once married, they remain for the entire life with her partner or his partner, depending from which side one looks. From those birds we human beings could even learn something. What is it? Well, what faithful means ... and please ma'am, say "hello" from me to Polly. OK? THC.

Wonderful composition Carin, and such vibrant colours, I took a couple at the wild life place we went ot but it was raining and they came out a bit dull. This is wonderful and bright though. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
