I am 58 years young, live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I'm a true product of my continent. I love the bush, the animals, sunshine, sunsets - oh well, anything to do with nature. I am unmarried and have three sons - 37, 33 and 30 respectively and three granddaugters aged 12, 6 and 4 respectively and obviously the light of my life! Photography has always been a passion and I have loved it since I can remember. I was still using a SLR camera and only switched to digital only in late 2007! My other passion is travel and I have been lucky enough to have travelled fairly widely. There are however still many, many places I would love to visit "one day." I am truly an amateur photographer and do it merely as a hobby. So please be gentle when you comment on my work. :-) Thank you Piet, my dear friend, for convincing me to place my work on Renderosity. You owe me one! Hugs, Carin xx

Well you have certainly brightened up my day, what a joyous image this is, it exude's sunshine and warmth, I can feel the heat through the monitor screen. Well it might have been switched on all night but you know what I mean. Lol. Smile and be happy kid, forget the week behind that has already happened and you can't take it back whatever it was, so let go and look to today, live it has it is not as it was. If you do look back make sure it's the happy times you remember not the bad. Superb uplifting image, should take anybody out of the shadows and into the sunshine. Excellent work Carin, sunshine hugs for you! Bravo!!!!!

I've been extremely under the weather lately, so all I'll say on this go-around is lovely capture of the sunflower, M.

"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Indeed!
