Description

Hello all! So with this image I wanted to do some experimenting. I used environmental mapping for the first time, using a picture I took last year. The Vue trees used are all variation on the alder with personalized leaves I created from leaves in my neighborhood. And lastly I used other alpha planes to see how well I could blend 2d and 3d. I hope you like it. The other models are from xfrog 3.5. Thanks for looking!

Looks very good to me. There is a nice sense of familiar yet strange--i.e., alien--in the plant life. Spread out in a very natural looking way too. I know how hard that can be.
