Description

Today we shift our focus to what a bee looks like in faded pink and purple pajamas. The bigger vehicle is a Bonneville pushcar design for Mickey Thompson's Challenger II. It has to get the streamliner up to 100mph so it can start it's engines clutching to 1500rpm. Then a simple multiplication by 4 shows the 4 Pontiacs will be able to remain below 6000rpm not including wheelspin at 400mph. In the real world it is based on a 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Tripower that pushed my first car to begin it's life with 60psi oil pressure. If you've ever timed a completely dissembled engine you know the 3D consequences of setting the rotor to a specific tower on the cap. After a frustrating trip yawwing a bit we retired to the gas station to make a more accurate setting and used the battery charger to keep the battery fresh. I think the look is my memory of the car that ran over our old dog Colon and then roared off. The view of his guts spilled in the gutter by the curb and snapping at us as we approached remains. The second vehilce is the bridge truss car with engine hung from the bridge. It can be front or rear. This car was originally a Galion road grader that rammed our 1949 Plymouth head on and so I cut my lip on the rear seat ash tray. The bee binds itself in haemorhoids and the two snakes of the caduceus. Dressing it in Rhodsian letters to release the Roman clasp is a study in voodoo economics.

the pink reminds me of a Hudson Hornet with it's overly large body parts and the smaller car would make an excellent dune buggy..glad you are sharing your early modeling efforts

As teccnicas de voodoo talvez alcançem uma rotação maior que os carros turbinados, mordidos por abelhas e cobras, que se estreintam neste mundo, onde as máquinas podentes pensam em poder dominar. Uma obra de excelente realização, aplausos (5) The voodoo teccnicas maybe alcançem a larger rotation than the cars turbinados, bitten by bees and snakes, that if estreintam in this world, where the machines podentes think about could dominate. A work of excellent accomplishment, applause (5)

Sounds like a pretty crappy way to go if your a dog, regardless of the rotor height! Cool artwork though!

Good modeling and POV in this concept. Mister Martial Arts, clad only in his jockstrap, provides a fine size reference for these storied automobies, T.

So sorry to read about your pup ... I mentioned to a friend the other day that after the "age of cars" is over (and sooner rather that later, I hope) more animals will be free to live their full lives. Thanks for the explanation about push-cars. Cool artwork.

I love the creativity and on top all the pressure measurements done from an artistic point of view. It sure beats the old style forged blocks method.
