Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

I see you both managed to squeeze in a a Big Mac.lol. Consider this as payback from you to me, I am sat here eating my favourite fruit, a green apple. I keep them in the fridge and they are crisp cold and tasty, just as I typed in the bit abaout the big mac, I dropped the apple, trying to juggle it so that it didn't land on the floor, I hit it into the air and succesfully caught it. As i did though my hand went up and smacked me in the jaw, causing me to bite down ON MY TONGUE. Very painful payback for silly comments I think. Lol. I bet you are splitting your sides now though. Excellent capture Marilyn, I would love to go to the top myself but I have no need now as I have been taken there by two wonderful ladies via their lenses. Superb work. Bravo!!!!! I checked up and down the coast but cannot find it. Sorry.

Excellent pov and depth created by the framing of the branches. It must be breath taking to look down from there.

Deja vu all over again. Looks nice and sharp from this end, Marilyn! BTW, I still expect that saucer on top to launch itself towards a galaxy, far, far, away.

I've been flipping back and forth between yours and mine, and I'm totally amazed. We took the same shots, put them together the same way, and came up with different stuff. They really do reflect our personalities! This is cool!
