A recurring character from the City of Splendors, a Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms campaign set in Waterdeep. “Caerden remembered the gleam in her amber eyes when she hissed her invitation in his ear, and then slipped away into the shadows, but he could not tell if it had been desire or something darker. He knew it could be a trap, she was Yuan-Ti, and therefore could not be trusted. But he could not deny his lust for her. It burned in him like a fever, and he knew the only cure was to surrender to it! The sound of soft moans reached his sensitive ears. She could be hurt, he thought. But the tone was not one of pain. It was the sound of pleasure. Followed the moaning through the darkened corridor, he froze, stunned by the sight when he found the source. Viper lie wreathing on the chamber’s cold stone floor, a huge serpent slithering around her naked body. “Either join us… or be gone!” she hissed, snapping him out of his stunned stupor. For a moment his natural repulsion for snakes screamed for him to flee, but, as his eyes roamed across her lithesome body, the fever of his irrational lust for her raged like an inferno, consuming what ever better judgment remained in him. Shedding his cloths with the fervor of a man mad with lust, he rushed to her, and she rose to meet him, but her other lover did not seem to like the intrusion…” The daughter of a race born tens of thousands of years ago by the magic enhanced breeding of humans and serpents by a now extinct reptilian race, Viper is seductive, scheming and often capricious, but seems more accepting of the scale less ones then most of her kind. Widely considered more cruel, evil and untrust worthy then even the drow, the Yuan-Ti are hated and rejected by nearly every intelligent race of Faerun. Alluring, but deadly, Viper appeared in Waterdeep several years ago, and, although most believed she has some connection to Zstulkk Ssarmn, the infamous Yuan-Ti slave lord of Skullport’s Iron Ring, seems to come and go as she pleases, serving her own agenda… what every that may be. The first recurring (Non-Player) character from my second pass through the City of Splendors. I reverted to V3 for this one, since V4 didn't have the morphs to stretch her neck or give her the snake-like fangs I wanted. Thanks for looking... Hope you enjoy!
