Hey everyone, well as I threatened yesterday we're back to another sunrise pic today ;) I figure if I'm up when it's happening it will always lend a degree of interesting light to scenes I must have already photographed hundreds of times so it's difficult to resist... (not a beach this time tho!) I've been wanting a shot of the pier for a while which focused on a rusty bollard to show the effects of time and the elements and this is the only one up to this point I'm vaguely happy with. Still keeping my eyes open for a misty morning so I can get one of the pier extending into seeming infinity but that's a story for another day.. Thanks to all who gave me feedback on the border/presentation to my last post, altered it again slightly for today but think I'm happy with it for the time being and grateful for the input. Ok - so i saw the thumb as it was 15kb but this is taking ages to load on a 56k modem so i'll just leave a message and take a look at full size when i am back home (i thought we had been through the whole compression thing - an 800px image need not be any more than 250kb and that is at a stretch (and a very textured/coloured image!)) Anywho great shots over the past few days, i'm impressed - the pano looked especially nice and is the perfect thing for that spot, and this one looks great (again from the thumb) but might be nice with a more "panoramic" crop - it looked a bit square to me. As for the misty morning shot good luck - you need the har and that isnt really a summer thing is it? Peas...
