Description

Two Bowhead fighterships zip in and around the desert landscape known as The Devil's Needles, large wind-blown spires of rock thrusting upwards from the desert floor in a haphazard pattern,a test for the pilots' skill as they manouever their ships at high speed. Ships are modified versions of my Hammerhead ship, these being a larger and heavier armed craft.Ships were created in Bryce from prims, and tesxtured in three metal textures from www.cgtextures.com.Landscape is a custom design, with spire formations created from lattice terrains...all textured in a photo texture also from www.cgtextures.com.Sky is a customized preset, water is a standard preset rendered in 3d texture setting.Image is rendered at Premium setting with DOF selected. Thanks for viewing and all your previous comments!

Very creative terrains, Neil. The fighter ships maneuvers really give a sense of forward movement.
