Description

Excerpt From the memoirs of early interstellar explorer Dr. Albert Xi: "It is always the greatest joy, and the strongest pain, for explorers to turn their telescopes and instruments outwards at the distant galaxies, stars, and nebulas beyond the reach of our lifetime's travel. These jewels in the dark really do draw us, call for us to walk towards them, and we always dream of that one further hill on our horizon. I do believe that this most basic impulse that drove our earliest ancestors to walk beyond the valleys they knew so well is what pulls us outwards, towards yet one more distant jewel." ----------------- Returning once again to stars and nebulas, I just couldn't seem to stem this one as it came to my mind. So instead I turn it towards you to reach a bit further. If anybody ever wishes to use my starscapes in their own work, drop me a line. I'm certainly open to sharing! This was done entirely in Photoshop, with a little help from the "Glitterato" plugin for the original scattering of stars.
