Description

Or arches, hoops, loops, horseshoes, whatever. Just some things it reminds me of. Captured 7/16/08 (hot out of the camera), around 7:10 AM, about 1 mile/1.609 kilometers from my arcane abode. Amazing the creativity of some homeowners. This must have taken some real dedication and manipulation in its development. The maintenance alone must warrant the talents of a sculptor. Better viewed full size. Thankx for the visit, and have a heads-up hump day.

How appropriate that we see green humps on humpday!! Amazing what people want in their front yards! Nice shot!

What to do with cypress when they get to tall for the roof. I have seen some really dinky houses with huge narrow trees in Long Beach. You've found an unusual one here.

These are great--and yes, it must have taken them a long time to sculpt them this way--I love em!!

Nice find Harry, and a lovely photo. My neighbor has these trees (junipers?) surrounding his yard... Of course they are just growing straight up, and are very tall. Provides some nice afternoon shade for me :)

The verdant arches? I've seen these once before, they met over a driveway; I love the look, and I'm sure it does take a long time to get them to do that! Excellent capture!

Impressive! I cannot imagine the creation of it, either. A lot of work, surely.

Great capture, Harry! I wonder how often they move the house in order to play croquet? lol

Fabulous capture, I've never seen anything like it. I'm wondering if it was divine intervention, or at least work by the Lady in the middle! Cool find Harry!
