Description

I stared out just playing, between other projects, and found myself standing on what seemed like a icy block, not unlike a Kuiper-belt object. Transfixed by the distance, the light, and what happens beyond the sight of our mortal vision. The universe is not only more complex than we can possibly imagine; it also more beautiful, and more terrifying than we'll ever begin to dream. Only when we can stand a look outward without limiting our vision, will we finally begin to see The Furthest Reach of Our Future. -From the introduction to the Memoirs of early interstellar explorer Dr. Albert Xi. ----------------- I'm beginning to think that Dr Xi is the voice of my imagination. The terrain was made in Bryce, the background in Photoshop CS, compositing in Photoshop as well. Hope you like it! Comments, criticisms, and suggestions are of course more than welcome.
