Description

A break today from sunrises and the 'country' series and back into the dead of night... I took this at about 3:25 last night, so shows the clock tower, when the streets were deserted and for the first time in one of my night shots of the town it wasn't raining =) This was much more planned than the previous 'After Hours' which was taken on the hoof with high ISO and short dof, for this I had my handy little tripod with me so was able to get roughly the shot I'd wanted. The alley is called 'Butts Wynd', the gate you can see leads into the 'quad' where a few academic schools of the university are situated. It's a busy passage during the day, one I regularly use myself, but is practically dead at night as it's not a main route between any bars! (that's my guess anyway ;)) Have an awesome Sunday one and all, Adam

thanks Tunde, no hdr on this, just a regular exposure bout 8 secs.. did a teeny bit of dodging and burning, and usual adjustments, levels, curves, shadows etc..
