Description

I was inundated with people putting an African Safari on the Bucket List. Folks, please bear in mind that Carin will be your guide and I will be your cook... Now that's food for thought, huh? LMAO

Today a Nyala ewe and bull, yes, "ewe" and a "bull", go figure! One of the anomalies in the animal kingdom and of course that aspect is true for size and physical appearance.

Good luck to Kimmers! She has had a very sad week regarding her family life.

Thank you for kind comments, critique and visits to my previous upload:

Wonderful shot -- I don't think I've ever seen these before. Were they in your backyard, or were you on a photo safari? Lucky you to be somewhere that "exotic" animals live!

There is a closeness and secure feeling to this shot. Not that these animals feel as we do and fill quiet moments with chit-chat and such, but to see them so trusting of one another, almost as if they know the other is watching out for them (in fact they are watching out for Number 1) but we all tend to project our own feelings into things, right? :-) A fabulous shot and the comparison of the two sexes is amazing! Great job!

its very interesting that they look so different but are of the same spieces but male/female. There are clues that they belong together but only after you look and consder. Survival has found many ways and paths.

I still think you should send pics like this into that wildlife photo contest, Piet. Your best stuff should be shared with a wider audience.
