Description

A Seagull stands in the grass along the shore; some may find these birds dirty and annoying, but I think they are beautiful. Their feathers so pure white and soft grey ... I could watch them all day. I used an 'action' on this one called Isabelle's Pastel (Photoshop CS II) .. which is one I seem to have used quite a bit a while back. I found this image in my little archive .. and thought It was about time I add it to my gallery. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend ... thanks for stopping by. Shari

I love seagulls Shari. Yes, they can be annoying and noisy, but there is just something about them that I admire. Don't know if you ever saw the movie (old) Jonathan Livingstone Seagull. Neil Diamond wrote the Soundtrack! Ever since I saw it, I have this "connection" with them. This is a stunning image and your treatment perfect. Great work my friend!!! :)

I'm not gull-ible to the point that I think seagulls don't make somewhat of a mess -- actually, they're scavengers -- but this is a most remarkable capture of the avian displayed in a nice soft, virtually ethereal, ambiance. Good framework, Sharilyn!
