morning all :o)
for those that dont know this is max my springer .sunday gone was his birthday 10.08.08. he is now 2 years old and hopefully will settle down a bit now or should i say thats what i`ve been told :o)..i took this shot on the day of his birthday whilst he was quiet eating the lamb bone off the sunday joint .as you can see he loves getting tucked in and i`ve been finding bits of bone all over the place .he always get a big bone as the joints are big ,as i cook the sunday dinner for all the gang ,8 sometimes 9 in total :o)
i was`nt around much yesterday as i had cap fitted on a tooth at the dentist .to say i was in agony is an understatement .

Max looks totally absorbed in his treat, a sort of dreamy expression on his face! This a lovely portrait of him, Mick, I didn't realise he is so young. Hope your pain is gone now, there's nothing worse.

LOL Mick, settle down? this guys never do this. My Angelus is now 8 and still crazy like a puppy. Very cute portrait and i wish him happy birthday and please do not settle down ;))))

I was just thinking, 'Thats a big bone for just you and June'. Then I see 8 sometimes 9, sooner you than me Mick, every Sunday baring when you are on Hols? I did do a 15 one Christmas, it was a 12 but 3 came uninvited, that was a nightmare but we managed. Did you count Max in your numbers mate? after all he is one of the family. #;0). Excellent capture mate, isn't one dog equal to seven of ours? I can't remember now, but if it is that makes him a teenager of fourteen, no way is he going to settle down yet. Fantastic shot and postwork. Bravo!!!!!

You captured a moment when he was being all dog and not trying to impress his audience. The look of him is wonderful. It takes a certain something to get down at this level close enough to take a photo when the animal has a real bone to chew on!
