Description
What is significant of this sunset - despite it depicting much of my mood - is the fact that these hills are also the divide for gold to be found in South Africa. To the near side some of the richest deposits in the world and if you go beyond, not a nugget. When the sun sets, the lions on these hills roar in unison, as if to guard this sacred divide. Am I too romantic? Yeah, I guess I am... May you have a peaceful week ahead.

This is such an excellent capture of the sunset! Most skillfull and masterful image Piet, and the key word here is indeed "golden".... The DOF is marvellous, and this scene looks sublime; untouchable......... and yet the most beautiful reality! Marvellous colours as well... this is absolutely terriffic artwork!

I want to know what the in world is that flying in the middle rightside of the image? That is one big bird! As for the image, oh my that is amazing! You have been graced with a lovely sunset and the sounds of the wild many of us do not get to hear. Beautiful capture!

What a stunning and glorious sky! Fascinating that you live near such a historic part of the world, and wonder if people are ever able to find the odd nugget here or there, or if it is all deep underground.
