Oh, Piet, I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful face she had. I'm glad you share those photos with us. We always want them to live forever and they never do. They give us love and joy for such a short time and then they are gone. It seems to unfair.

What a beatiful way to say goodbye. Ek weet hoe jy voel en ek is jammer oor jou verlies. Ek moes my Nino laat uitsit in die begin van hierdie jaar want sy heupe het ingegee. Ironies genoeg, ek was die eerste persoon met wie hy kennis gemaak het toe ek hom die dag vir my man gekoop het, en ek was ook die laaste om hom te sien gaan. Hy is dood in my arms, en ek mis hom baie want ek het veilig gevoel met hom naby.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of this beautiful old lady. One can see from the photos of the two of you together the great bond of love between you both. It's hard, I know I have been there more times than I care to remember. As long as you have those happy memories of her she is never far away from you. My condolences, she was gorgeous!!!
