she was my faithful companion and guide when in the bush danger would hide i am speechless when i bid you farewell...
I have many dreams, mostly ones one can hardly convey in spoken language. I want nature and peace around me, yet I do not want to relinquish digital photography. I have a Nikon D200 with a very basic lens. I had a Canon 30D too, but what a disappointment. BIO I am 55, an IT consultant and tried my hand at diamond digging, computer programming, being a network & computer technician, web designer, amateur photographer, etc. I am a man of the bush and appreciate simple things. I do photography assignments from time to time. I am privileged to live where I do, (map), a rural area in South Africa where I can hear the lions roar just 12 miles (20km) from where I live. I love this site and the artists uploading their work and I don't think any other site offers this varied depth in artistic skills. Piet

Oh Sorry about this :( I lost my favorite pet in 2005... Beautiful Collage

I'm so sorry to hear about that. Our four legged friends always have that special spot in our hearts. Our oldest cat is 14 years old. We've had that cat longer than our kids! There is a special bond between man and dog though. They have helped us tame new worlds and our own fears for thousands of years. Spike

A lovely dedication to your best friend, so sad that she had to travel on to another place, you will miss her so much. How lovely that you have great photos of her to remind you of her in the years to come. I especially love the one of you both with your heads together, she has such a wonderful expression there.

Dear friend artist, we are all the same ones… we always regard our dogs as children… or even of the confidants… my wife and myself had of it 6… all deaths around 9 years, It is to be said without seeing them aging. The two last died in two years of intervals, and the pain is too large still today to replace them… I have succeeded during this time to conertir there my wife with the frequentation of the cats… within sight of our old today, we have two sisters she-cats… they will live can be as far as we… our preceding cat died in 18 years! Your bitch which seems very affectionate, you do not worry, went directly to the Paradise of the dogs… where they can run and to be spent all their drunk!!! I include/understand your sadness
