Description
What is significant of this sunset - despite it depicting much of my mood - is the fact that these hills are also the divide for gold to be found in South Africa. To the near side some of the richest deposits in the world and if you go beyond, not a nugget. When the sun sets, the lions on these hills roar in unison, as if to guard this sacred divide. Am I too romantic? Yeah, I guess I am... May you have a peaceful week ahead.

One can never be too romantic in my opinion:-) Stunningly beautiful as usual Piet, interesting about the gold..and I find it interesting that lions roam the hills as usually when we see them in documentaries they are always on flat land. Its so very nice to learn about where you and others live! So boring where I am, lol! (city life)

I do not remember exactly what part of Africa H Rider Hagard wrote about in his stories of the quest for the "fountain of youth" but it would seem this would fit with some of the descriptions of the land he walked through to get there. Stunning view and the vertical dark whisps of clouds are reall amazing.
