Description
This is a picture I did about 15 years ago with very basic software, it took quite a few hours to do. It is a photo of my elder brother taken circa 1938, my brother Sonny(James Thomas) was about 14 months old. The man in the pic was a famous pianist of the time, I think he was called Charlie Koones(maybe spelled wrong). My brother was in Manchester Childrens Hospital with TB. The picture along with a story was printed in one of the newspapers of that era. Sonny still has one of the originals and the newspaper article. This copy as you can see was rather damaged to start with. Not the best job I have done but it was the first.
Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any commenst you care to make.
There are no strangers in the world,
Just friends that have not met.
Thank you Andrea for the correct spelling he was called Charlie Kunz, born an American, he died and was buried in England.

Great job Jeff and considering how far 15 years has moved the Tech on. I didn't get chance to postwork my upload for today, it was a last minute thought. See you when I'm back from London !

Fantastic job, Jeff! Charlie Kunz was a fantastic pianist who played syncopated rhythm jazz type music, and my Mum bought his set of 78's which were to teach yourself to do it. She got quite good at playing in that style, which involved bouncing the left hand up and down across several octaves in almost every bar!

Excellent for the time. Photoshop CS2 could take the cloning marks out of it, now. Restorations take a lot of patience! I know.... :c)
