Description

This is a rather delicate flower that is grown in a large flower pot in our garden. Following the upload from Andrea and her Canary Creeper, I said I would upload this as the seed pods are quite similar, in being quite robust compared to the flower. Not a very good capture of the flower I'm afraid, but due to the weather they were not around for long. I haven't disected one of the pods as yet, to see how large or small the seeds are. That is something for another day, they are a bit too green at the momment, I will wait and see if they dry out a bit first. If anybody knows the name of this plant it would be appreciated, I haven't a clue and Pauline can't remember. Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make. I'm off to the Fire Service Museum tomorrow, it's their 25th anniversary of the Museum opening in Rochdale. So be prepared for some more Red things. I wish you enough!

It's probably in the book, and looks very familiar, but I'm feeling quite 'powsy' at the moment, as my Yorkshire Grandma used to say! So I'll leave it to someone else. and if it's still anonymous in the morning I'll do it the.!

I gave it a go, but couldn't figure it out, so I guess we'll have to wait for Andrea to feel more like doing some research. Sorry!

Don't ask me! All I know is, if it's green and grows in the grown it's a weed. Ask my Mum, I'm banned from weeding her garden! My evil plan worked! ;~)

Well, ya got me. I have seen a similar flower and seed but on a totally different plant. Whatever they are, they look like they are fairly hardy and very happy where they are planted.

Jeff I looked at this yesterday and tried to be clever lol. I went on the Identification websites of plants and became engulfed with TOO MUCH information that meant nothing to me lol. Could I find a plant that remotely resembled this one, certainly mashed my head in for a while lol. Consiquently I lost the RR page somehow and when I went back I (for some reason thought I had already made a comment, well I suppose this long winded explanation makes up for it lol. Great couple of shots but never found out what it was!
