Description

Finally getting back to one of my 'famous" false infrared photos. I took this while on my trip to Pine Island. This defunct tractor in the mango grove has been sitting there for some time, as grass mowed around it attests to. Best viewed at full size. Tropical Storm Hannah is giving us some wind and rain right now, but nothing too terrible. It looks like she is moving up the coast and may hit the Carolinas. What we are worried about is Hurricane Ike. As of now the forcast track has it going right over us. Not something you want to have happen with a Category 3 storm. We'll manage though...wish me luck! TGIF!

Neato IR capture of the tractor, sitting abandoned in anticipation of Hurricane Ike, in this rustic scene, Kort.

How lovely and delicate this picture looks. I really love your IR captures. I hope Ike doesn't do too much damage. There seems to have been a lot of hurricanes near you lately. We keep track of them on the TV down here and we are just glad we don't get them here.
