Description
Finally getting back to one of my 'famous" false infrared photos. I took this while on my trip to Pine Island. This defunct tractor in the mango grove has been sitting there for some time, as grass mowed around it attests to. Best viewed at full size.
Tropical Storm Hannah is giving us some wind and rain right now, but nothing too terrible. It looks like she is moving up the coast and may hit the Carolinas. What we are worried about is Hurricane Ike. As of now the forcast track has it going right over us. Not something you want to have happen with a Category 3 storm. We'll manage though...wish me luck!

Oooh... farmy! LOL. Cool one, Kortaloo. You know I love these IR images. One of these days I'm going to have to pick your infra-brain and find out how you do this, lol. Anyway, well done, my friend. -M :^)

Fantastic capture. I've never taken an infrared shot, but yours are really getting me interested! We had an old tractor in the family like that. Well similar...from memory it was called a Ferguson and it was gun metal grey. I used to drive it everywhere as a five year old. It probably was not the safest thing to do in hindsight but we never thought twice about it at the time!

Neat shot, have you tried it just concentrating on the trees, grass, and tractor, without the house? What do you mean by false infrared ?? I'm honestly curious about the false infrared, could you please let me know?
