Description

This is the final image of my sunflower. She was doing so well and I was enjoying the different stages of her growth, watching her daily and documenting the changes with my camera...I took this on Aug 31, then my illness worsened and couldn't check everyday...Last Thursday Sept 4th I checked and the center was nearly filled with this beauty, then on Saturday, Sept 6th I went to check the garden and she was laying broken on the ground. I was very disappointed to say the least:-( I hope you enjoy this side view. Thanks for looking and for previous comments! Thoughts and prayers go out t those in the path of Hurricane Ike!

Wonderful closeup, Lynn. A lot of fine details on this picture. Sorry to hear it has died... not sure why.. But they often get VERY tall... almost taller than their trunk can stand. Maybe the wind broke it...unknown... Beautiful it was while it lasted..anyway.+5
