Hi, my name is Minda,                    I live in San Jose California and I would like to state a little bit about myself. I’ve been in Silicon Valley since 1989 and I truly love the place. The weather here is just adequate for me to enjoy during the summer since strolling outdoor is one of my favorite hobbies. I love to cook on different kind of dishes of different cultures that I learned from few of my friends. I am currently employed on a semiconductor company. While surfing the web, I came across this interesting pastime.                  Being here in RR is really a challenge for me since I don’t have any experience on doing 3D’s and I am enthusiastic to learn.First I was reluctant since I don’t have the courage to strive but I am eager to learn since this kind of field grabs my interest. I would like to thank those people out there that encourage me to go into this and I will do my best.
Again, thanks to everyone.     mind1/13 .

Great shot, Minda. And interesting info. I always loved the thought of free non-polluting energy. The big deal is always where to put them. I saw some devastating documentaries where they placed huge wind turbines... In an area where rare birds of prey had their nesting grounds. It was terrible to see... because the turbines chopped the big birds, heads and wings off, in flight. But wind turbines are great.. They don't pollute. And makes a lot of energy. I hope these are located in an area without too many bird nesting grounds.+5

Oh.. so that's what those giant fans are for? And here I was thinking someone just wanted to cool off some large areas of land! We have hundreds of them just east of where I live. It's called an energy farm. I guess that's where they grow these suckers. Big question is: How can you tell when one is ripe? The truth is that these don't produce energy at all.. but rather science is trying to speed up the rotation of the earth so we can do away with Daylight Savings Time. Also very effective at moving the smog from the L.A. basin over to the next county thus saving L.A. industry millions of dollars in enforcing the tough smog laws here. Anyway, very cool capture Minda.. Hugs from Dave :^)

superb capture Minda. the bigger they are the slower they rotate.smaller blades like these are efficient at high speeds, at least that is what I have read

they have these here in Germany and they are usually much larger. I see them all the time while I'm driving around fro my work 1 blade is about the length of two 18 tractor trailor trucks! and you can see them from a grteat distance like sentrys over the land. Very nice picture!

Wind turbines are maybe a good alternative to fossil fuels, but unfortunately they'll never make up for the enormous amount of energy drawn from oil. The people over here in France are slowly but surely dubious about the benefits we can draw from wind turbines, as they disturb the nestling of birds and radio and tv signals, while bringing insomnia and health problems to the neighbouring populations. Whatever happens, the electricity produced will cost a lot more than that of solar panels or hydrogen-powered engines. Otherwise, it's an excellent capture, Minda! Hugs, and have a nice week !
