Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Cool shot..

I miss the vortex generators and the way the moisture would creep forward and back darkening the metal in the bright sun like a shadow with no gnomen.

SFO - the only airport where I actively cross my fingers when we make our final approach...over the water and onto the the landingstrip only a few short feet from the waves crashing on the cliffs... Can you catch the active fault lines from up there? I love finding them when flying over this state. Its just a bucket of fun around here. LOL

Love thos ailerons and flaps! Super shot of the wing contrasted against the relatively dark ground, Marilyn! Do you think you can memorize everything tallpindo puts in his comments?

Even though I hate flying, I do love aerial views. I guess you can't have one without the other! You seem to get really good shots through those plane windows!

What a great shot, straight down the wing! Wow! Awesome pov. I don't suppose there was much to look at during the rest of the flight, though!

Super view from way up there Marilyn, exceptional capture to say it is through the glass(I don't suppose they would let you out onto the wing). Lol. An image I am very unlikely to see for myself, so it is nice to view it through your lens. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
