I have a friend who is in a relationship that is ... well ... if I were being polite, I would say it's stormy.
The other day he sent her a dozen beautiful pink long-stemmed roses with a card, saying he was sorry for everything. She and I just looked at each other and shook our heads. His behavior has been way beyond what any amount of "I'm Sorry" flowers might fix.
All I could do was laugh with her ("Honestly ... MEN. Sheesh!") and take pictures. They really were gorgeous flowers!
I had to wait until the boss was at lunch to get my camera out, so ...

That IS a beautiful rose; too bad he's gone beyond any repair roses could offer. Maybe he should consider diamonds? They look REALLY great in backlighting :) Great shot, Tara!

Great shot! It is a shame that men like him make it hard for the rest of us guys who really try to keep things on an even keel. suggest that after roses drop the blooms, sending the thorny stems back to him with a note saying 'apology NOT accepted!'

I think he needs to reel in and cast another line by the sound of things Tara, a dozen pink roses should not be used to say sorry, they should have come a bit sooner than that just to say he loved her. I must say I like Faemikes comment about returning the thorns. It does sound like she would be better off without the jerk though. Excellent capture and a beautifully formed rose. Bravo!!!!!
