My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

That IS a beautiful rose; too bad he's gone beyond any repair roses could offer. Maybe he should consider diamonds? They look REALLY great in backlighting :) Great shot, Tara!

Wonderful rose so gorgeous pink and a compo as "cut off a lower part" works so well for this huge flower head. Hope a best for your friend.

Beautiful shot :)

Pure beauty, and the sneak factor of high only adds to the charm. And the story was both sad and funny.

Sometimes sorry isn't even close, but you got to give us this foto, so guess it was at least worth that--great shot and of course, the light is the best!!
Faemike55
Great shot! It is a shame that men like him make it hard for the rest of us guys who really try to keep things on an even keel. suggest that after roses drop the blooms, sending the thorny stems back to him with a note saying 'apology NOT accepted!'

Tremendous!! I could write a thesis on anger, which is odd as I don't suffer from it. I LOVE Denise's idea about the diamonds, even better how about a little Porsche convertible auto?

I think he needs to reel in and cast another line by the sound of things Tara, a dozen pink roses should not be used to say sorry, they should have come a bit sooner than that just to say he loved her. I must say I like Faemikes comment about returning the thorns. It does sound like she would be better off without the jerk though. Excellent capture and a beautifully formed rose. Bravo!!!!!

Even when they're right, men are wrong. Excellent clarity, color blends and lighting effects in this macro.
