Description
Denise, I know how much you long to capture a nice, sharp, clear image of a heron, preferably doing something appropriately heron-like. I, too, have stalked this nemesis bird, only to find I've taken pictures that need a LOT of postwork. The other day I was out at Ann's place, saw this hanging on the house next to the front door, and thought of you.
So this heron is for you ... perhaps it will act as a talisman. Good luck in your quest, my friend. I'll be cheering for you!

Very nice and unique. An Egyptian hieroglyphic depiction of the sacred heron along the shores of the Nile, or am I thinking of their sacred ibis?
