To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Great title for an absolutely fantastic piece of artwork. This must have taken forever to do in postwork. I can only imagine the number of layers and brushes it took! The haunting eyes are a real grabber but then how the trees branches become almost like viens on her face is just a masterful transition. The overall faded look is perfect for what it feels like to wake up from a vivid dream that rapidly fades from memory.

This is such a pretty painting Mina. I love the way you have integrated each image, the timepiece which is essential to artwork like this, and of course, the wonderful character as well. The color scheme is just right as it is evokative of both a sad, decaying mood borne from ancient decay as well as the birth and growth of new life ... this image is a statement of timelessnes and the seeming eternity of the life cycles of our world. Fantastic work, once again, my friend! :)

Time brings a savour to the shade. For that it can return from its spirits without embarrassments my Beautiful. This green dominates the hope of its thought.
