Description

This sunflower was SO tall, and SO far above my head, I had to shoot it with the zoom on! Another gem from Ann's garden. .......... Did you know that voting is taking place for September Artist of the Month for the Writer's Gallery? I just found out a little while ago. Imagine my excitement when I realized that Marilyn (beachzz) is up for AOM! (Along with six other people, of course!) If you're interested in voting, you can click here and make your choice. If you want to look at each nominee's work in only the Writer's Gallery, you can do a search. Click on the lower drop-down menu and choose "Writers" and make sure the date range encompasses a year or so, and put in the artist's name in the bottom box where it says, "Search a specific user?" Make sense? (Just a tip.)

I got so taken in by your foto, I didn't even read what you said. And if you hadn't told me, I never would have known about being in the running for AOM--wow, I'm blown away. Thanks for the plug here--I appreciate it tons. BUT, back to this foto---holy moly, it's just spectacular, THAT is a sunflower for sure!!!

The head on this fella looks to be massive Tara, I wouldn't want to count the seeds that will come off it anyhow. Excellent capture, it looks so warm and sunny against that clear blue sky, and as always, beautiful lighting. Bravo!!!!! I wonder if you can guess who I voted for? Lol.
