My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I love this, it makes perfect sense, you just keep plugging away, bit by bit by bit. And oh yeah, isn't it awesome when those words just almost write themeslves??!!

STUNNING, Tara! You are sooooo talented. And as for the words writing themselves, yep, I've experienced that with both poetry and visual art, great feeling!!!! A fellow right-brainer!

Inexorable, infinitesimal? My, you use such big words! Perseverance: the ability to turn off your cellphone and keep it off; also the ability to read any and all e-bots.

I can relate to this Tara....My Rock is all the stuff in this house from Larry, his mom and his dad....It might take me 35 yrs. to go throw it, because it took 35 yrs. to collect it....but I just keep trying.....Lovely work Tara

What amazing imagery! I do totally agree with your brain not being involved in some of the poems. Sometimes your brain becomes the stumbling block upon which you falter. Hugs!

beautiful, and the music of the words suits the feeling of the words...There's an old Taoist saying that rock is harder than water, but only water can dissolve rock (whereas rock will never dissolve water). The image of creating, by slowly shaping and dissolving the rock, is beautiful. And in the end you describe a very Eastern thing: Being born, it starts all over again. When you 'channel' your work, it comes out like waterfalls. Beautiful, and I can definitely relate.

I see you are a lady of many talents, Tara! Followed the link here from your comment on Mike's (neferiousDrO) wonderful wood-grain tiles post. This definitely speaks to me - it's a wonderful poem, and really sounds like a relaxing evening spent just playing for the sheer joy of it. Wonderful!

Wonderful poem, it really does encompass so many of the kinds of projects I work on. I suspect many of us here can relate to this one.
