My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Mmmm, Berries!!!

I get it! I get it! Apart from that, this is a lovely shot, and there's a sort of tenderness in the soft bloom on those berries that's wonderful!

Anyone for Gin? Ladies? Sorry Tara, I have never ever been into Monty Python, Palin is OK, love his docu stuff, the rest imho, have less brains than turkey ****. But thats me! I have never seen a Juniper bush before, and I find it quite interesting. The berries look like they have been coated in something like an icing glaze, the greenery looks like plaited string. Not too sure of the colour of these Tara but for Gin they need to be green, these look to be turning to purple. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
flora-crassella
very nice photo with the white (or green ? )berries!

A very beautiful shot Tara. We have a childrens song about that bush. The song is something like your song "here we go round the mulberry bush". But we sing about the Juniper bush :)

You know, I've never really realized what juniper berries look like, so thank you for the education! They don't look too appetizing, though; hard to believe anyone would try eating them. Gin now, that's a whole nother story... :) Great shot!

I didn't know Juniper trees produced berries! Never seen around here. Stark contrast of light and dark in this composition. And, I usually snake around Monty Python quips.
