Description

It wasn't the sunniest day while we were there, but I thought the dark clouds actually lent themselves quite well to such a shot of this kind of castle.. (3 exposure hdr but I went easy on the treatment..) Can't remember all the details of the place as the tour was in French, and I was constantly translating as best I could to my sister who'd forgotten most of hers since leaving school. I do remember that it is from the 15th century however, and (I think) was owned by about 7 different generations of the same family. The castle is called Chateau de Roquetaillade, and can be found not too far from Bordeaux, towards the southwestern part of France. Still struggling on with dial-up, so do please excuse any apparent absence/lack of commenting etc - I'm trying me best to catch up on things but it's just taking soo long! Have a wonderful day, Adam

Superb! Glad you went easy on the HDR, I'm beginning to hate the way some of it looks!
