Description

Credits for Free Items: Walker of Shadows cat mask Ajax bones hair found in the old free archives at Daz My background created using fractals and texturing. Rendered in Daz Studio. The vintage dress is from Poserworld--though I couldn't resist tweaking the textures a bit. I'm so far behind in the galleries due to trying to learn how to use a Mac, and transfer all the files and programs from my now broken PC. But this is my favorite time of year and I wanted to return as soon as I could. So, this is just a little something until I can get back on my feet. In the meanwhile, I hope to spend some time in your galleries this weekend if I don't do something stupid during all the installations that will put me back offline. Have a great weekend and thank you so much for all your former comments, favorites, etc. I do plan to spend more time out here once I'm "settled" again. The good thing I learned is I can use some of my PC Poser runtime folders on my Mac which is good because I have hundreds of freebies I've been collecting over the years. And I do love the Mac. It is so efficient, and I can even see my work much better rather than always working on a small monitor. It was an old computer. It served me well for 7 years. So, I can't complain, but I'm feeling lost without all my quirky little graphics programs. I love to collect freeware, too, so, I guess I'll have to get more creative finding what I like. Take care!

I love the organic feel of this picture, particularly the background, but also what you did with the textures: all the elements have a primitive, raw feel to them, and the whole pictures gives off a lot of energy. I really like this one!

Wow, you did a fantastic job. Love that spines on her hair and the background as well. Hey you did an amazing job even if it's small it's phenomenal.

Fractals can be done in Daz Studio? WOW! I didn't know that. Excellent,. simply excellent how you put the background of your artwork together with the eyecatcher. Everything fits perfectly together. And it's good to hear that you're happy with your new Mac! Congrats to that and enjoy the work now :o) I'm looking forward to the new images from you. Take care, ~Sassy~

Hmmm. Nope they can't be done in Daz Studio that I know of. So, maybe I should put this under mixed media? I created the background first, then rendered and posed the 3d work in Daz studio. I used a fractal program combined with texturing in PSP to create my background.

It is amazing what you can come up with when you combine the assets of different software. This is a perfect example of that combination. Outstanding job!!
