Description

This dedication is very important to me and is for (LBJ2) or best known as Lars. He is amazing and if you get to know him you will discover he is a caring and brilliant man. Lars has had an incredible life and is one of the most talented men I've ever known. He had his own band (Fairytale) and has written and performed many songs. Lars allowed me to hear some music his band recorded back then and it is incredible. I hope one day he will share it with everyone here. Lars does superb work in Daz, Bryce, Hexagon, and Poser. He is able to get important messages across in his art by using his sense of humor. He is able to make a point without offending others, and he does it in a way that is entertaining and will make you smile. This dedication involves Lars and his Mom whom he speaks about with great love and respect. True Love And Caring (For LBJ2): Lar's Great Grand father and his Grand father were both fishermen, and Lars and his family have lived near the ocean all of their lives. His Mother would often take him for a stroll in his baby carriage down by the ocean. She was a loving Mother and left a lasting impression on his life. Below are Lar's own words that touched me and were my inspiration for this scene. "I could run out and play with all the other kids. If I needed anything at all. I could just run home. She was always there for me. If I fell and got a bleeding wound on my knee.. she was always there to wash it and put a bandage on it.. if I got hungry or thirsty, any time of day... she was there for me. I guess that is true love and caring." In modern times I know it is more difficult to make time for our children and that is why I felt this story was both rare and beautiful. I wanted to capture that feeling of safety and happiness that his Mother provided for him all the time. Hoping for smiles, Dave P.S. Special thanks go out to my dear friend TONI DUNLAP :) She breathed new life into my favorite outfit Hansel And Gretel by making so many amazing textures for them. I mixed and matched them for this scene and they look great. PHOTOS on wall are Lars, His Mom, His Dad and his Sister, along with the view from his bedroom window as a boy. Very nice illustration. The pictures on the wall are a good touch; so, in a different way, are the boys waiting slightly impatiently outside. The bond between mother and child is one of the most powerful you'll ever experience. And from what I've seen, it's changed slightly today but it's still as strong as ever

A well-done image, Dave. I really like the large stained glass window and the perspective of the room. Also, how you incorporated Lar's photos into the image, a nice touch! Great dedi too.

A wonderful image and story!!! I agree with you a lot has changed for the children who grow up now. Mostly both parents work and so children have to learn to handle a lot of things on their own, but I love this old-fashion way to raise children and to be there always for them, at least I did it for my children!!! Wonderful work Dave!! Hugs Ute

Sorry running late... Jeeze, five comment pages already...lol. Oh well.. Better late than never. Anyway, most excellent Image and Dedi my friend. The inclusion of the family photos was a really super idea. I was always inclined to hide my cuts (etc.) because I was afraid it would lead to an investigation of cause and result in the loss of of a toy, skateboard, bike, roller-skate or even a friend that plays too rough. Lars was very lucky having the type of parents he had. Parents should always be concerned with their childrens safety but not to the extent of wrapping them up in Bubble-Wrap, just to play...lol. Very cool posting Dave. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)

My o my how you weave such fansinating stories and then illustrate them so wonderfully! I love the way you put them together, it seems, so effortlessly. Sign of a true artist, that is certainly what you are! Lovely natural posing, incredible realistic expressions, and scene setting is always top notch! Way to go my friend!

Dave, this is a sweet render, and a wonderful and heart touching dedication to Lars One of the things I like the best about Lars is his ability to make us think, while we are laughing. Being from different cultures gives one a different perspective and that is a good thing.
