To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Gorgeous, Mina. I love the texturing, the colors, the framing, the mysterious symbols. I can imagine her face on one of Aleister Crowley's mistresses--it has the look of a 1920s occultist. I love the eerie haunting feel of this. I love anything art deco, and for some reason this reminds me of that era.
