To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

I adore the masks; they do not hide anything they show but the have would like to become where to be and the feelings perceived like are just emplifiated to carry it to its figure. Dark where impure qualities perceived become even more alarming and divine pleasure of an achievement us extase. Reminds me very much of terra cotta Assyrian temple masks. the crackled affect really works well and the colors are great for old fired clay.
