Hello all! Have been busy this week and have another busy weekend ahead but wanted to say hello with one I took off the pier in Santa Monica . This young girl ( wasn't one of my daughter's they were up on the pier with me ) she seemed so fearless as she stood in the wind facing the waves . I saw a face in the sea ( do you see it? ) I imagined her talking to the man in the sea and questioning her future there. so i wrote a little poem to go with it today. This relates to how I often times wonder what kind of future is ahead for my children and their children with global warming and environmental challenges ahead. so putting this up today ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fearless and silently she speaks to the sea and asks of what her future will be... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks for all your time and comments will try and get caught up today ... love to you all!!! What an exceptionally beautiful photo. I do see the face, and I believe it's smiling at her. The fate of this world seem pretty grim to me right now, but there's always hope. What a gorgeous photo of waves and the ocean, the child, the gull, colors, that red in her dress is so lovely in the light. Great movement, shadows . . . This is brilliant! : )

A gorgeous shot! The girl, the waves, and the gull, a shot to remember. Yes dear, have seen Chrissy posting here at RR. Isn't it wonderful that she and you share the same interrest? My chidren are both very far away from being creative, but I can see it in Emma and Rebecca. Well they have a maternal grandfather who is a painter, so the heritage is from two directions. How is it with your other girls? Do they share your photo skill too??
