Description

Hello all! Have been busy this week and have another busy weekend ahead but wanted to say hello with one I took off the pier in Santa Monica . This young girl ( wasn't one of my daughter's they were up on the pier with me ) she seemed so fearless as she stood in the wind facing the waves . I saw a face in the sea ( do you see it? ) I imagined her talking to the man in the sea and questioning her future there. so i wrote a little poem to go with it today. This relates to how I often times wonder what kind of future is ahead for my children and their children with global warming and environmental challenges ahead. so putting this up today ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fearless and silently she speaks to the sea and asks of what her future will be... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks for all your time and comments will try and get caught up today ... love to you all!!! ((( BIG HUGS ))) ~ Kimmers !!! ♥ :O) psst ....my 11 year old daughter Chrissy loves photography and this site so much and now has a gallery here -i am so proud of her she is doing so great for her age!! (she has the eye- was my assistant on my last wedding shoot and took some of the best shots ) please check out her gallery here for those who haven't seen it ... http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?user_id=556439

Lovely image, Kimmie. Your photos always have such vibrant yet natural color to them. All lot of us are wondering what our futures will be right now. sigh.

Wonderful, simply wonderful image! I deeply share your thoughts about future. But future depends on us, on our consciousness, of our analysis of the situation and our will of deep changes. Each in that field can bear little bricks, e.g. last April 22th my friend ACue launched the Earth Day here at RR and I hope that next year you will participate as photographer. Another good news, I appreciated that Smith Micro, the current owner of Poser, launched an enchanting BLACK virtual woman, Olivia, this is a brick against racism and discrimination too. This is why I am REASONABLY optimistic.

Beautiful thoughts on which I agree and that we have too for our children and for our grandson Nicolas. This is a wonderful image, not only well composed but you had the chance to get the gullwing posed behind your daughter. The wind blows Chrissy's dress in an elegant way and the backlight gives it a bright color. The water color and transparencies are impressive too. Impressive picture!
