For the ever-prolific Mandi (blankfrancine)
whose journeys into inner nature & the imagination
grace this site with some of its most cornucopious art.
(Ok, "cornucopious" isn't a word, but it means overflowing anyway...)
I took my "Japanese Tea House" (below),
coaxed it, threatened it and offered it bribes to get it to look like microorganisms & primal oozes had taken it over.
Mandi, I don't do what you do nearly as well as you do,
but the thought's what counts!
To your ever-flowing vision!

Totally awesome work, Mark! thanks so much for the dedi,it means a lot to me. Architecture transformed into organic cellular structures, with the all-important primal ooze!

Interesting presentation!

While there isn't anything wrong with the above re-interpretations of the original - after all we do have the right to continue to play with our previous efforts - they lead me to the original which I find such a satisfying art work. This reinforces the maxim 'never discard any doodle or work, it may come back for you later on'. caio.

Very good one. 5+.

Mark, this is just fantastic... all three images. I love whan you play with filters. You can squeese the most gorgeous things out of them. But they would be nothing without your own wonderful drawings as the original.

Mark all I can say is this is one of the most creative images I've seen in so long. As I read Mandi's response it was easy to see she was like the rest of us and totally captivated by it. It's truly incredible what you did with the Japanese Tea House after a bit of threatening and bribes.

Yes... you needed to have this molecular scan since now you can really SEE the energy and life's forces zooming through each and every cell. They all have their own characteristic essence, especially the lower image which I believe is the "glue" of the bunch. Very clever.

This has an incredibly organic feel to it, and it reminds me of coral...at least parts of it do. Each frame of this is distinct and gorgeously presented. Fantastic work, especially the lowermost image, which stands as my favorite element of this piece; I love the sense of color there as well as the faint hints of a kind of liquid shimmer. Great work!

All three have a unique and wonderfully mysterious quality to them... very different from the original, and yet equally as beautifully done. Fantastic work, Mark. I could look at these all day, and still find something to marvel at. Each one is a delight, both visually and texturally. M :^)

But of the three postings of this tea house .. I really love this one. This one shows off the fantastic textures .. oh I know it's the post work, but dang, it's just fabulous! I think it's the almost mystic quality, and then the bottom one is purely wild! If you really look, there's all kinds of creatures and things to be found within the texutures!
