Description

Evenin all.. A step away from France for the next few uploads probably, starting with this shot of my flatmate mere seconds before his abduction by 'visitors'.. hehe nah I'm not really a 'believer' as it were, but an extra-terrestrial theme was in my mind as I saw this shot. We'd been on a long walk to try and find some ruins (probably will post one of there too) and the light caught us out by a good few hours... the way back in the dark was fun, navigating several miles of fields (complete with bulls), ditches, hedges, a stream (with no bridge).. all with the mini-flashlight I keep attached to my keys =) ..anyway, as we climbed this stone wall I thought Kiryl's silhouette looked kind of cool in the scene and asked him to stay as still as he could as I manoeuvred the moon where I wanted it.. experimenting a bit with a central compositional element, which is something I quite often shy away from.. Should be getting broadband coming through later this week fortunately so will be able to be a little more active on here.. I'd forgotten quite how painful dialup was..! Have a great evening! Adam

Dialup is painful my friend :)...but sounds like you'll be super surfing soon:)...Excellent low light shot, sometimes we tear up the rule book on rule of thirds and golden means, centralized works well here :)
