Description
Haven´t posted in quite some time, and thought i´ld introduce the reason for that. It´s a project i´ve been working on for some time now and finally completed. The Sacre Coeur basilica in Paris.
The modeling was quite an undertaking and more or less a huge jigsaw puzzle as i had to rely on tourist shots of various quality for reference and had to do a lot of guessing on what some parts looked like.
For the scene, i decided to keep the surroundings simple, rather than filling it up with all sorts of junk as i would normally do. :)
The entire lot is modeled with Cinema4D R10.5, apart from a few Poser characters for the statues, and rendered with Maxwell.

Like most everyone else, I thought it was a photo you used to fill in while working on something else. My eyes are having difficulty being convinced it is not a photo, despite the fact my brain keeps reiterating that it is digital work!
