Description

Hello everyone :o) After my week long absence I thought I`d better put in an appearance :o)..During my absence I`ve had a little retail therapy lol ,purchasing a new lense 18-105 nikon vr and also a new laptop thats all singing all dancing .Hope everyone has been ok during my leave and that I find you all fit and well :o)..As of yet there is still no movement on the housing front ,although the houses have been flattened right up to the last block of 6 that are still occupied .The liason woman is still insisting we will be gone shortly ,but the way I look at it is ,how long is a piece of string . Thanks to everyone who sent mails asking how I am :o)..I will start looking and catching up shortly ,but please forgive if i dont comment on a weeks worth of everyones pics . Thanks for looking and take care and of course its great to be back in amongst the family :o) Mick

Mick, I like the slyness in your title. :-) To say tranquility here is one of those lovely overstatements that I enjoy so much. And the shot is great - b/w makes the mood so silent and observant.

Nice to see an upload from you Mick, you have been missed, fine on the shopping therapy lets hope it works and drags you back out of the dolldrums. I hope the laptop and the lens turns out to be a good investment. Excellent capture of the cemetery, looks very atmospheric with the B&W treatment. Superb work. Bravo!!!!! It is damn near impossible to catch up after a week away so don't even try mate.

You try to resolve the most of your problems and not worry if you cannot comment on the post... this isn't important... your health and housing situation are far more important! A hug Mc P.S. Your photo is splendid! :)

Hello Mick, Hope this comment finds you out of the homeless category. I've missed visiting your gallery for a bit...so, now am hopping around. I like this shot and the title. If you get a chance, take a look at my posting for October 18th and you'll see why. Bill

Beautiful shot! Reminds me of the churchyard near Cadbury Hill where King Arthur's castle might have been. Very nice in b/w and I hope your housing situation is about to be resolved.
