My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Looking at the angle of the path in the background I would hazard a guess that the tree is leaning quite a lot to the left, and like Alan I am surprised that the tomb stones look quite erect and not displaced by the roots. It certainly looks to be a prime specimen of its species Tara, and looks quite at home in its location, a very healthy looking tree. Superb capture. Bravo!!!!!

A gorgeous shot of this giant in the boneyard. I, too, love shooting in cemeteries. I'll post some new shots soon. I usually take photos for reference to paint from, but some of the shots I've taken are very nice on their own. There's a great community of excellent photographers here at Rendo and I look forward to sharing and getting feedback. You have a very nice gallery. I'll be back!

A nice beautiful looking tree....I know it's not a locust, because locust trees have thorns.
