Description

This was another of those long render times with this program. Have been nursing a miserable headcold these past few days and with temps hovering only in the mid-40s here, it's not 'fun.' LOL So I will try and get caught up on comments to everyone. Fractal constructed with Incendia. PW frame with PhotoScape 3.2 Thanks for viewing and commenting.

This is fantastic...I love the almost crystalline structure as well as the strong lines that work together so well in this. Great sense of color too. Fantastic work, and hopefully, you get better soon.

Sorry you still have that cold Keith- I hope it clears up soon -and its cold here too- don't come too close though as my immune system sucks. About the image: Followers of Chip's (Chipka's) early Neamean stories will instantly recognise this rotating space station. Made in the Neamean way, concentrating on the Far Outsiders' artistic artisans, the brief given to these amazing architects was to produce a feathered effect on the structures edges and in fact, each 'feather' is in fact a solid plate or cell, containing up to 300 sub cells, each containing living accommodation for 40 persons. Multiply that across the whole surface and we have a population of 6,000 squared (to the power of 10). Making the actual radius of the structure 150,000 miles or so. More than that I dont know as my maths sucks but I think you get the drift of the enormity of the project that the Nemeans undertook. Now all you need is some deep space and a lens flare or three and she is all ready to 'fly'. Dave

I do hope your cold clears up soon Keith. This looks like a great piece of modern that as you rightly say deserves to be hanging on wall somewhere. Shame about the huge render times with Incendia but this shows a lot of patience on your part. Great work Keith. Tony.
