Description

Well - this is my first image from our visit to the Monte Casino Bird Conservatory close to where we live. It is actually so hilarious how we both tried to capture several of these beauties, but every time it was just tail feathers, or half a bird or something else unuseable on screen!!! They were just so skittish and also much more interested in the female pheasants!!! We were on our last stretch of the path when this guy ran across the walkway infront of me. now that is some peasant err ummm I mean pheasant lol. I suspect patience and lying on your stomach in the right place could be a winer for catching those. If that fails there is always bribery if you know what they like to eat

I never seen one outside of a zoo.I always heard of people hunting them but they are the plain brown variety.excellent timing and capture
