Description

I guess seasonal is the right category to put this under, nothing to do with holidays though! Having seen so many great autumn pics on here lately I felt a renewed desire to stop making excuses and get off my butt to take some new shots. I had planned to go out at sunrise for a portrait shot of a friend on top of a hill overlooking town, but as we looked outside it was clear no such shot would be possible due to the dense fog in the air, visibility of probably only about 50-100m... so instead I went round searching for shots which might work in the mist. On the journey home I was forced to take an alternate route due to a closed road and was glad I did as it took me through this magical autumnal tunnel (hence the title), where I just had to jump out for a quick shot before packing back up and heading firmly indoors towards heat! Slightly larger upload than usual today as there was lots of fine detail I wanted to retain. A big hurray for Obama and have a great bonfire night if you celebrate it! Adam
