Mornin' Everyone ! Just a little weirdie today :o) Guess y'all are wondering where the title came from and what it means....horticulturally speaking, a Grex is a hybrid with the term usually being applied to orchids Was just foolin' around and came up with this pic, and she kinda reminded me of some weird hybrid creature, soooo, voila, I titled it "Grex" :o) There's also a biological meaning for Grex, but I think it's way too early in the morning to get into what that means...look it up if you're really curious :o) Thanks for all the cool comments n faves and y'all have a super day !!!! For some reason, I'm reminded of the sixties, Janis Joplin's passionate and dark style in particular. It's a great portrait. I like the mood. I agree with you about the election. Gobama! It feels good to have hope again. : )

Mina, this is an exquisite composition! So symbolic and incredibly dramatic and powerful! The lighting and the colours are superb; each with a varied patterning and texture.... Amazing how all the different techniques can be combined and made into such a beautifully expressed human face. This is remarkable arwork, my Dear Friend!!!
