Description
They been haveing cotton picking machiny around for some time and it would look like they can improve on how it pick cotton. I know nothing about cotton crops but it looks like they left most it it behind.
anyway how they get it improved on.
this was taken in the last week of September. That when they harvey the crop here

Maybe they left it for the gleaners. Great capture. Made me think of old song lyric "...you can't pick very much cotton when those cotton balls are rotten, in those old cottons field down home..."

I have been told in times past that they leave the cotton that hits the ground because it rots so quickly, but I am agreeing with you cause this is part of the reason clothes are so high at the store cause they leaving most of the cotton on the ground. It is an awful waste!!!!

You can't beat the hand picked cotton, but if it went back to hand picking the cost of cotton would soar through the roof, and not many people would be able to buy cotton clothes, sheets towels etc. It sure looks like the coton picking machines need looking at, the amount of waste here is not acceptable. I know if I was a cotton grower I would want improvements made. Excellent capture Jocko, thanks for sharing and bringing this to our attention. Bravo!!!!!
